CBO Scores Boehner 2.0 Plan

The score is here. At a glance, it’s better than 1.0 and moves the ball a few inches in the right direction. Take a look, and comment on what you see in it good, bad or otherwise. Grover Norquist has joined the ranks of supporters.

The GOP in the House seems to be coalescing around the plan now. Sens. Reid and Schumer have declared it dead in the Senate without allowing a vote, but their plan is just as dead in the House as things stand now. The House should pass Boehner 2.0 tomorrow and get it sponsored for a Senate vote, see where the Democrats actually fall on it.

And whatever happens there, hammer the president for his lack of a plan.
