A top Saudi cleric has just issued a fatwa insisting that Muslim men are permitted to marry little girls — “even if they are in the cradle.” Age has nothing to do with when girls can have sex; all that matters is when they are physically “capable of being placed beneath and bearing the weight of the men.”
