California still hasn't learned much

In an effort to bring health insurance costs down, California’s legislature is not looking at market-based solutions or tort reform. Instead, the state is considering imposing a form of price controls.

And with education continuing to cost more while delivering less, the state is set to impose a silly and overtly political teaching requirement rather than focus its schools on helping students master the basics.
