The economy is in turmoil, our foreign policy is a disorganized joke (well, a tragicomic one), and America is basically a center-right country – and still Obama is clobbering the putative Republican candidates in the polls. Yes, I know this is CNN, but something is wrong here. Of all the moments in our history that we need a “regime change” now is the time, yet we can’t seem to find a changer. Maybe I’m just gloomy because of the simultaneous decline of the stock market and the Lakers, but I can’t help but be seriously disturbed. Do things have to get even worse before America wakes up?
