This gentleman, Daniel Kahl, is among the thousands of gaijin living and working around Japan. He’s a very well-known media personality and cultural commentator. And he’s fed up with how the international news services are reporting the nuclear crisis in the country he has lived and worked in for 30 years. Stories like this one, that Charlie linked and sliced up a bit ago.
Obviously Kahl made this video before the IAEA raised the Fukushima crisis to match the Three Mile Island event, but as I blogged earlier, TMI wasn’t Chernobyl by a long shot.
There’s no question that Fukushima is a serious disaster. Media-generated panic isn’t helping.
