South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley this week wiped out and replaced the board of the government broadcasting corporation in the state, “ETV,” as part of her effort to get rid of government run TV and radio there.

“The governor believes we need to convert ETV and its functions to the private sector, and she is excited to have found a group of appointees who share her priorities and vision for ETV, Haley spokesman Rob Godfrey said. “At a time we are attempting to return government to its core functions, we simply can’t fund ETV with tax dollars.”
