In Budapest, NATO is in emergency session discussing the situation. In New York, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on the Security Council to take action. In Washington, the Treasury Department warns banks that it is “monitoring” Libyan financial transactions. On Monday Secretary Clinton leisurely travels to Geneva to confer with the U.N.’s worthless Human Rights Council to seek “consensus.” And best of all, President Obama has condemned the Libyan violence.
Don’t we live in a decent world? In other words, two weeks into the Libyan crisis the United States, Europe and the rest of the “international community” have done…nothing.

In our new world order, madmen from North Korea to Tripoli will be able to do as they please with complete abandon. And there will be very few real consequences.
