Every so often he nails one. Whenever someone names a bill after a person who died tragically — I’d also add “anyone whose situation has ever been described as a ‘plight'” — it’s because someone has decided that Something Must Be Done And Besides I’ll Be On The News.
Sometimes what really must be done is “nothing”, but nothing can be the hardest thing for a politician to do.
