Senator Jim Webb (VA) “ankled,” as they say in Variety, the Veepstakes today before even getting much of a nod. Was this a form of kabuki? Was Webb sparing himself a little publicity because he knew Obama could never pick him anyway? I wouldn’t be surprised.
