Time for Teddy Kennedy to retire

I’m serious. Looking back on his vulgar (word chosen deliberately) performance at the Alito nomination hearings and considering who Alito turns out to be (at least in part), it’s time for the Senator to start saving the taxpayer’s some money by absenting himself from the scene. If the Senator cares so much about health care (I doubt it, but we’ll see), he can start devoting some of his time and those Kennedy millions to improving the health of the poor.

(I have written on here before that I oppose the death penalty, therefore applaud Alito’s decision today, from a quick read. Of course, I don’t take any of Kennedy’s positions as any more than postures.)
