Beyond Offensive

It doesn’t require Emeril to tell us that this report from the Houston Chronicle has taken Rathergate “up a notch.” The paper describes possible CBS “document” source Bill Burkett:

In an article Burkett wrote for the Internet last year he compared Bush to Hitler and Napoleon as one of “the three small men” who sought to rule through tyranny. “Three small men who wanted to conquer and vanquish,” Burkett wrote. Burkett confirmed authorship of that article in the February Chronicle interview.

Look, it’s time for CBS to fess up and fess up fast. If this is the kind of person that their news department is using for a source, they have a problem even beyond what has been imputed. And it’s not even a question of Burkett’s connections, whatever they may be. I don’t care whether this sick creep works for the DNC or the DMZ, this whole thing is so repellent Viacom out to divest all its holdings and donate the money to AIDs or a cure for breast cancer. They’ve got a lot of penance to do. Also, any Jew working for CBS ought to want to throw up reading Burkett’s quote (and rat out anyone at CBS with knowledge of this disgrace).
