I have just finished The Nuclear Sphinx of Tehran/Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the State of Iran by Yossi Melman and Meir Javendanfar. It’s an excellent tour d’horizon of the Mullah Madness. Most bizarre fact: Ayatollah Khamenei is a supporter of stem cell and cloning research. Melman is an author of my favorite book about the Mossad – Every Spy a Prince. Javendafar writes for an obscure-but-growing media organization.
Next up? Bill & Dave/ How Hewlett and Packard Built the World’s Greatest Company by Michael S. Malone, who, full disclosure, is a friend and a great guy. He also knows more about the history of Silicon Valley than anybody I know. I’m looking forward to it. (Maybe I can get some tips on how to improve that “obscure-but-growing media organization…)
