… will not be surprised that The Belmont Club scooped Newsweek by several months in their remarkably similar analyses of the “insurgency.” Many of us have recognized for some time that Wretchard may be the most sophisticated student of the War on Terror, digitally or in print, and I imagine future historians of this period will pay close attention to his work. Today’s post is a particularly good example.
