Just when you thought that anti-Trump hysteria might have reached a peak, someone gets in front of a microphone and makes a liar out of you.
Brandon Wolf, vice president of the “Dru Project,” appeared on MSNBC Saturday and made a case for commitment. He claimed that Mike Pence wants to put gay people in “concentration camps.”
“We have homophobic psychopaths running the United States government today,” Wolf said.
“We have a secretary of state, as was mentioned, that believes that gay people are sinners based on who they are. If Mike Pence, God bless him, ended up in the White House, sitting behind that desk in the Oval Office, he would have us all in concentration camps hoping to pray away the gay.”

Ironically, Wolf made the statement on the show of MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who had opened the broadcast apologizing for anti-gay slurs she made years ago.
So a liberal makes disgusting comments about gays and is allowed to apologize, while Pence, as mild-mannered a Christian as they come, is accused of Gestapo tactics for… what? Opposing gay marriage? Believing gays are committing a sin when having sex with a member of the same sex?
Oh yeah, that sounds like he’s readying the cattle cars to transport gays to an American Auschwitz at any moment.
Sure, it’s hyperbole. I think. Wolf may be genuinely frightened. If he is, I’m sure some compassionate and competent mental health professionals will take good care of him in the loony bin.
If he isn’t, it just goes to show we are not at Peak Trump hatred yet and the hysteria will only get worse the closer we get to the election.
