Did Donald Trump Just Suggest that His Supporters Shoot Hillary Clinton?

Daily Kos thinks so — not the most objective observer to be sure.

But here’s the video. And here’s what he said:

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Trump has recently been (falsely) claiming that Hillary Clinton wants to “abolish” the Second Amendment. He may have been attempting to repeat that charge in the context of Clinton appointing judges to the Supreme Court who would be hostile to gun rights.

As has happened numerous times with Trump, it simply came out wrong.

Or, he may have been joking. We may see what kind of sense of humor the Secret Service has.

He just can’t help himself.
