Evidence for the half-serious Belmont Club dictum that humanity’s continued survival, despite its stupidity, has been due either to Divine intervention or Space Aliens, found support from an unlikely source: Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to walk on the Moon, thinks Space Aliens have definitely saved our bacon.
Edgar Mitchell, an astronaut on the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, says peace-loving aliens visited our planet during weapons tests at US missile bases and the famous White Sands Proving Ground in the New Mexico desert – where the world’s first nuclear bomb was detonated in 1945.
“White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons – and that’s what the extra-terrestrials were interested in,” the 84-year-old told Mirror Online. “They wanted to know about our military capabilities.”
He added that the extraterrestrials were “attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.”
Mitchell also says that other officers support his claims.
“I have spoken to many Air Force officers who worked at these silos during the Cold War,” he said. “They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles.”
Humanity appears to have a profound need to find a plausible explanation for everything it observes. We can’t believe that stuff can just randomly happen. So when politicians we regard as clever and calculating do something mind numbingly dumb, it bothers us. Chuck Ross of the Daily Caller is tormented by this particular mystery: “If Hillary’s Server Was ‘Blank,’ Why Was It Kept At A Data Center In New Jersey?”
That revelation is significant because until now, most observers have assumed that Clinton wiped her server clean sometime after October, when the State Department sent a letter requesting that she hand over all of her emails. Clinton’s attorney, David Kendall, informed the House Select Committee on Benghazi in late March that the server had been wiped clean.
But the new claim that the server has been useless for more than two years indicates that when Clinton finally did produce her emails in December — 55,000 pages worth — they were drawn from a different device.
Kendall recently gave the FBI three thumb drives that held Clinton’s emails, but Wells said she had no information on whether the data from Clinton’s old server was transferred directly to lawyer’s thumb drives. Neither the Clinton campaign nor Kendall responded to questions from TheDC.
Asked why the server would have been stored in New Jersey if it did not have any useful information on it, [Platte River Networks attorney] Wells said, “I have no information on that.”
Chuck Ross posits the existence of another device. Before we laugh at the idea that non-empty source device exists in the possession of Space Aliens, we must ask ourselves: if not, then what’s spooking the Democratic Party? Clearly something is exercising them. Niall Stanage and Kevin Cirilli of Politico write that the party is in “panic mode”.
Democrats are worried that the furor surrounding Hillary Clinton’s private email server will be prolonged and intensified after her sudden move to hand it over to the FBI.
The Clinton campaign’s decision to give up the server and a thumb drive containing backup copies of emails left Democrats scratching their heads as to why the former secretary of State had resisted for months turning over the server.
Coupled with new polls that suggest Clinton is vulnerable, Democrats are nearing full-on panic mode.
What is undeniable is something extraordinary has provoked the return of the legendary Ancient Ones to the political fray. USA Today and several outlets reported that Al Gore has been quietly exploring the possibility of running for president in 2016. Gore, Sanders, Biden and Hillary herself have a combined age of nearly 3 centuries. What infernal forces could have caused these gentlemen to abandon a comfortable retirement to enter the lists? By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! Something must be up.
Clearly malignant influences are menacing Hillary’s staffers. “Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s most trusted confidante” has lawyered up. Lawyers are the Washington equivalent of the Amulet of Aggamoto.
Abedin has hired a team of lawyers, one of whom is a former Clinton aide, who are responding to information requests from the courts and State. They’ve denied any wrongdoing on the part of their client and said Abedin is cooperating with requests for official emails in her possession, aiming to turn over all her correspondence by the end of August.
But her lawyers — Karen Dunn and Miguel Rodriguez — didn’t respond to questions about emails on Clinton’s separate server. Dunn is a partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner, and she served as a senior advisor to Clinton when she was in the Senate.
Clinton’s separate server. Would that be the empty server at Platte or is there another one?
Charles Cooke, writing in the National Review argues that the bare hunk of metal, is like the dog which didn’t bark in the night, important for having nothing on it. In an article titled “Why Hillary’s Wiping Her E-mail Server Clean Matters More than It Might Seem”, Cooke argues this has only created a separate set of problems for Hillary. It’s very emptiness argues that something is amiss. But more importantly for those who don’t believe in Space Aliens, it provides indirect evidence that the mysterious nonexistent source server posited by Ross of the Daily Caller actually exists.
Cooke notes:
Platte River Networks has retained control of the old server since it took over management of the Clintons’ e-mail system. She said that the old server “was blank,” and no longer contained useful data. “The information had been migrated over to a different server for purposes of transition,” from the old system to one run by Platte River, she said, recalling the transfer that occurred in June 2013.
[He says] It would be easy for the layman to conclude upon reading this news that, because the data had been backed up, Clinton’s decision to wipe her original server was inconsequential. This conclusion, I’m afraid, would be a false one. On the contrary: By having cleaned the hard disk on which all of the important activity took place, Clinton could well have impeded the FBI’s investigation, and thereby rendered it impossible for the federal government to learn what she has been up to. …
“Aha,” the Clintonistas say. “But Hillary moved all of the data to a new machine in 2013.” Indeed she did. But — and this is the key — only the non-deleted information will have been transferred over. As Clinton’s team presumably knows, when data is copied from one hard disk to another, it is only the “active” files that are included in the process. In only the rarest of circumstances (RAID arrays, etc.) do source hard drives also replicate the “dead” information they are carrying, and there is next to no chance that Hillary asked for this to be done. Instead, she has almost certainly done nothing more or less than to make a copy of her e-mail cache as she had curated it; in other words, to have copied exactly what she wanted to have copied. From the perspective of an investigator, this is a problem. Sure, keeping the homebrew machine in working order would have provided no guarantees of anything. But by wiping it she has ensured that there is no chance whatsoever that her deleted items can be perused.
But the data had to be clean copied somewhere, and clearly not to the empty hulk in Platte River Networks. Therefore there may have been a data device or devices out there which Hillary’s lawyers used for scrubbing. Think about it. Even if all the data is on thumb drives, you’d have to mount that drive to something to print the hard copies, or to edit it. And regarding those devices and scrubbers: are they security certified? We don’t know where it is, or if still exists but the Ancient Ones must have a pretty good idea what was on it, for they fear what it may conjure. If there’s one thing the return of the Venerables proves, it’s that there’s got to be a Democrat in the White House in 2016 if a scandal breaks loose, and the probability of that is not zero.
The reason for this imperative is rather simple. If by some mischance the SS Hillary founders, it will generate a bubbling mass of flotsam and jetsam which political enemies must on no account be allowed to pick up. To prevent embarassments someone reliable has to be in the Oval Office to clean up and save the brand. Politics is a going concern. The constituencies must go on. They’ll drop a wreath for those left in the water, but they can’t stop.
What will become of the those left behind? Will they just languish somewhere after all the loyal service they’ve rendered to their masters? Well you believe in Space Aliens, don’t you?
