GOP Congressman: 'I Don't Think Anyone Really Thought That the Mexicans Were Going to Pay for a Wall'

Rep. Francis Rooney (R-FL) told CNN that “I don’t think anyone really thought that the Mexicans were going to pay for a wall.” The anchors gave him some pushback because, as they said, it seemed like a campaign promise that President Trump made. Seriously though, Trump owes the American people an explanation for why he couldn’t get our southern neighbors to fork over the funds.
