Saying that “he gave a lot of Americans something to believe in,” the mainstream media celebrated the moment Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) killed the GOP’s Obamacare repeal bill. It turns out the press really loves Republicans when they sabotage other Republicans. McCain returned to the Senate after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. He originally voted on the preliminary repeal bill, with the hopes of sending it to conference or committee. But, after saying that he was concerned the bill would never actually return to a full conference, McCain cast the deciding “no” vote. Now he’s the media’s golden child! Remember 2008, when they were adamant that he shouldn’t beat Obama for the presidency?
