Ben Jacobs, a reporter for The Guardian, claims that the Republican candidate in the special election for the at-large congressional district in Montana, Greg Gianforte, “body slammed” him. He says the altercation broke his glasses and hurt his elbow. He’s up for election today, and this happened yesterday. Not a good last day of the campaign!

Update: Gianforte has been charged with misdemeanor assault, and a Fox News crew corroborated Jacobs’ story.
