CBS' Bob Schieffer Says Comey Firing is Like JFK's Assassination?

CBS’ elder statesman, Bob Schieffer, passed over the idea that President Trump’s firing of FBI Director Comey was similar to the Watergate scandal, and said he thinks there are more similarities to the JFK assassination. He says that, had Lee Harvey Oswald had been prosecuted at the time, several conspiracy theories would have been dealt with. Is he saying all this is a conspiracy theory? On CBS?!?
