'Hamilton' Actor Defends Berating Mike Pence

The ‘Hamilton’ actor who read the message to Mike Pence is defending his actions. He says that if Pence came to the show to leave politics behind and enjoy a night at the theatre, he came to the wrong show. Brandon Victor Dixon lectured the VP-elect on diversity and civil rights, begging the question whether actors know more about the way the world works than politicians.
