WASHINGTON – Actress and Political Activist Jane Fonda told climate change protestors on Friday that “the free market ideology is dissolving” with the polar ice caps.

“We are not doomed unless we choose to be,” Fonda said before her arrest at a “Fire Drill Friday” protest on Capitol Hill.
Fonda, along with West Wing actor Sam Waterston and other activists, marched from the Capitol grounds to the street in front of the Library of Congress, forcing police to close off the road. Fonda, Waterston and others were arrested for standing in the street to protest.
