WASHINGTON — A “collusion” drink was served to guests at CNN’s annual post-White House Correspondents’ Dinner brunch on Sunday.
This year’s White House Correspondents Dinner took place on Saturday and CNN held its “Political Hangover” brunch the following day with the “collusion” drink included on the “Barr menu,” a reference to U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr. The drink consisted of “Russia vodka and orange (fresh from Florida).”
President Donald Trump skipped the dinner for the third straight year.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s two-year Russia investigation wrapped up with the release of the final report last week. Mueller found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the course of the investigation.
“[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” the report stated.
