In an explosive divorce filing, a Washington, D.C., mom claims that her husband is having an affair with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), and even put his son “in harm’s way” by bringing him to a public meeting with Omar while the congresswoman was receiving death threats.

Beth Mynett, a 55-year-old physician, separated from her husband Tim Mynett, a 38-year-old political consultant on or around April 7, 2019. At that time, the husband made a “shocking declaration of love” for Omar, according to the filing submitted Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court and first reported by the New York Post. The wife said she was “willing to fight for the marriage” but her husband was set on leaving her for Omar. The Mynetts lived together for six years before marrying in 2012. They have a 13-year-old son.

The husband was spotted with Omar at a California restaurant in March. Days before he initiated the separation with his wife, he took their son to dinner with Omar to formally meet her for the first time — while his wife was out of town. In the filing, Beth Mynett accused her husband of putting their son “in harm’s way” by taking him out in public with Omar, “who at that time garnered a plethora of media attention along with death threats.”

“The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar,” the court papers say.

Omar, a notorious member of “The Squad,” a team of far-left freshman congresswomen led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), recently separated from her husband, according to reports. The 37-year-old congresswoman and mother of three has paid Tim Mynett and his E. Street Group about $230,000 through her campaign since 2018 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, internet advertising, and travel expenses.

Tim Mynett has traveled extensively with Omar, according to the divorce filing. “Defendant’s more recent travel and long work hours now appear to be more related to his affair with Rep. Omar than with his actual work commitments,” the filing alleges.

In a shocking move, Tim Mynett took Omar into his house with his son while his wife was away.

“Omar *entered the wife’s home while she was away*. WOW. Voters deserve to know that,” tweeted David Steinberg, a reporter and former PJ Media editor who exposed Omar’s marriage fraud scheme — she seems to have legally married her brother, British citizen Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, in the service of immigration fraud and student loan fraud. Omar has disputed the reporting, which has received attention from President Trump.

Beth Mynett is seeking full custody of her son, along with the family’s D.C. home, child support, and legal fees.

PJ Media reached out to Omar’s campaign for comment and this story will be updated with any response.
