WASHINGTON, D.C. — At the Values Voter Summit on Saturday morning, Seb Gorka, a Fox News contributor and former deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, agreed with the president in calling the “fake news” media “the enemy of the people.” He denounced media attacks on Trump as “despicable” and driven by “utter moral turpitude.”

“The Fake News are the enemy of the people,” Gorka declared. He attacked various media outlets for “attacking [Trump]’s ten-year-old son, calling him a bigot, an anti-semite.”

“This is a man whose grandchildren are orthodox Jews!” the former Trump advisor noted. He decried the “utter moral turpitude” of attacking Trump as racist or anti-semitic. Trump has “already pardoned an African-American heavyweight boxer” and “an African-American grandmother who was charged on drug offenses. It’s despicable.”

As for Trump’s true character, Gorka declared that the president “only wants safety and prosperity for all Americans, whether you voted for him or not.”

Many in the media have criticized Trump for referring to anti-Trump outlets as the “enemy of the American people.” Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) went so far as to compare Trump to Joseph Stalin, who would use the phrase “enemy of the people” to suggest his thugs should kill that person. While the president’s phrase may be too antagonistic, many media outlets have indeed twisted the truth to attack him, and spread lies to damage him.

Gorka called Trump “the kryptonite of political correctness,” adding that the president’s victory in the 2016 election marked “the victory of common sense,” especially following the Obama administration’s outright embrace of transgender identity.

He praised Trump, noting the “change of gargantuan proportions that this man has brought to the swamp.” Specifically, he noted that after 23 years, the president finally fulfilled the promises of American presidents before him to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and recognize it as the capital of Israel.

Gorka concluded his speech with an extended metaphor. He compared political correctness to a sheet of ice covering the United States of America and “locking our country down.”

“That man from Queens, like an ice-breaking ship, smashes that political correctness to get our freedom back,” the former advisor declared.

“The ship will crack through the ice, but if there isn’t a flotilla behind him, the ice parts, comes around the hull, and almost instantly reknit itself,” Gorka warned.

“Donald Trump is the ice-breaker, but you must be the flotilla, you must be the armada,” he declared. “Don’t take anything for granted.”

“We need six more years of Donald Trump, and then eight more years of President Pence,” Gorka concluded, to thundering applause.
