Maxine Waters Tells Reporter 'You're Not Confused' About Her Hypocrisy

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) didn’t just spout rank hypocrisy about President Donald Trump’s firing of James Comey — she also Democrat-splained an NBC reporter, on MSNBC! It was like a Jedi mind trick, without the hand wave. No, seriously, she did it.

Right after Waters flatly declared that Hillary Clinton, had she won the election, should have fired Comey (right after excoriating Trump for doing exactly the same thing), NBC reporter Peter Alexander asked, “So she should have fired him but he shouldn’t have fired him? This is why I’m confused.”

Without missing a beat, Waters declared, “No, you’re not confused. If the president is implicated in an investigation …”

To this, Alexander snidely remarked, “I am confused.”

Yes, so is America. The very same Democratic Party which dragged Comey through the mud, blaming him for Trump’s victory last November and calling on him to resign, became immediately incensed when Trump fired him. Alexander has every right to be confused, and his confusion should not be second-guessed.

Who will protect these poor MSNBC reporters from Democrats like Maxine Waters?

Seriously, click “Load More” to see the video. The Waters-splaining takes place just after the 3:25 mark. And no, she didn’t even wave her hand.
