MSNBC's Nicole Wallace: We're Only Talking About Parkland Because White Kids Were Killed

I’m not sure whether MSNBC is actually trying to push themselves into irrelevancy or not, but they sure do seem to be working toward that direction. The most recent example: Nicole Wallace’s opinion about why the media is talking about the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, on Wednesday.

You see, Wallace figures we’re only interested in this story because white kids were killed:

While the whole segment is full of misandrist and racial nonsense, Wallace took the cake when she said: “People in urban settings — we’re talking about this because let’s be honest, 17 white kids were — I think you’re making a good point, Eddie.”

We’re talking about this because 17 white kids were killed?

No, we’re talking about it because 17 kids were killed. I know I speak for the vast majority of Americans when I say that the race of the victims doesn’t mean jack squat to me. They could be 17 black kids, Hispanic kids, illegal immigrant kids, or Martian kids. They’re freaking kids, for crying out loud. What kind of monster sits here and thinks about race at a time like that?

Well, clearly a “monster” like Nicole Wallace.

The truth is that the only people preoccupied with either the race of the shooter or the race of the victims seem to be in the media.
