If this great country is truly rushing headlong toward its toilet-swirling doom, then nothing is sending us there faster than the Progressives’ demonization of words.
We are supposed to be scandalized by all of this because OMG RAAAAACISM and stuff but the outrage falls flat when you find out that it was the Democrats who got the “impeachment as political lynching” narrative going over twenty years ago:

In fact, seemingly every Democrat who was breathing in 1998 was down with the lynch mob analogy.
So maybe shut it and spare us the bunched undies outrage, lefty residents of Unhingedlandia.
Perhaps if public school kids spent less time learning things like Intersectional Transgender Migrant Unicorn poetry they would understand figures of speech, idioms, and the like.
I’m comic, when I have a great set I say that I “killed.” To this point, I have yet to actually murder someone. The grown-ups of America understand that.
There are fewer of them every day.

This one is the worst of the bunch:
Victoria Hood, a former women’s Masters cycling champion, spoke out against McKinnon competing. “It is not complicated, the science is there and it says that it is unfair,” Hood told Sky News. “The male body, which has been through male puberty, still retains its advantage, that doesn’t go away.”
Hood expressed “sympathy” for transgender people. “They have a right to do sport but not a right to go into any category they want.”
McKinnon responded to this criticism by calling Hood a “loser.”
“I have yet to meet a real champion who has a problem with trans women. Real champions want stronger competition. If you win because bigotry got your competition banned… you’re a loser,” the cyclist tweeted.
I am the father of a female college athlete, and I wrote about the unfairness of this last spring. She trains too hard to have it all negated by one of the more insane aspects of the progressive fever dream.
Since we’ve been the subject, the trans-activists, they are some of the biggest speech police bullies around these days. My good friend Gay Patriot had his popular Twitter account permanently banned for using the word “tranny.” That’s right, a guy who puts the “G” in “LGBTQ” was punished for politically incorrect to one of the “T”s in the group.
We’re doomed.
