Heap Big Target
Elizabeth Warren hit the stage for Tuesday’s Democratic debate as the front-runner for the first time and, as many suspected, with the spotlight came an increased level of attacks from her rivals.
Some of it was substantive, like Amy Klobuchar hitting Warren for her coyness about raising taxes on the middle class to pay for her health care “freebies.”
“At least Bernie’s being honest here and saying how he’s going to pay for this and that taxes are going to go up. And I’m sorry, Elizabeth, but you have not said that, and I think we owe it to the American people to tell them where we’re going to send the invoice,” she said during the presidential debate on Tuesday evening in Ohio.
Andrew Yang was dismissive of the Fauxcahontas wealth tax, noting that it’s a rehash of an idea that has been tried and failed in Germany, France, Denmark, and Sweden.
In addition to the meaningful attacks, Kamala Harris was allowed to speak. The formerly smug top-tier candidate continues to drown in a sea of irrelevance, screaming to be noticed before her campaign sinks to the bottom for a final time.
On Tuesday, Harris was barking from the Flail Zone about Warren not joining in the battle to get President Trump’s Twitter account suspended.
You know, the important stuff.
Many news outlets noted that Mayor Pete was on fire during the debate, which is probably the final nail in Beto’s political coffin. The more Buttigieg’s star ascends, the more O’Rourke’s falls. It’s been that way for months, and everyone but Beto and his supporters has noticed.
We have over a month until the next debate, and there will hopefully be some further attrition by then. That one will be co-hosted by MSNBC and The Washington Post, so it will no doubt feature some extra soft softball questions for the progressives.
As we move forward, Crazy Joe the Wonder Veep’s intellect and sanity remain unaccounted for.
Young Female Squad Has An Old Guy Fetish
The mean girls of the Squad are reportedly going to endorse Bernie Sanders, setting up some real popcorn time for the race. Elizabeth Warren loves playing her variety of victim cards, and it’s going to be difficult for her to blame sexism if this gives Sanders a boost in the race to be the Number One progressive.
This is yet another case of the Squad giving the finger to the Democratic establishment, who have no interest in having an independent socialist usurper become their nominee. Despite the old money still being on Biden, and the media love obviously shifting to Warren, Bernie still took in more money than anyone in the third quarter and he just won’t go away.
From this side of the aisle, making the real race for the nomination a fight between the two hardcore capitalism-hating socialists should ensure that no one in Middle America ever votes Democrat again.
Failed Niche Candidate Is Sad That People Still Aren’t Noticing His Failed Niche

Not one single question about the climate crisis.
Not one single question about the climate crisis. This is the existential crisis of our time. Not one single question, and that’s completely inexcusable. #DemDebate
