One assumes there will eventually be an end to counter-factual Leftist insanity, but apparently we still have a way to go:
Rose McGowan is on tour to promote her new book Brave, and it got off to a rocky start earlier in the week when the actress got into a shouting match with a transgender woman during an appearance at a Barnes and Noble bookstore. McGowan has been promoting Brave on talk shows as well as book signings, but it appears that she has canceled all upcoming appearances after the meltdown at the bookstore. In a video of the altercation, a transgender woman asks Rose McGowan about some remarks that she made on RuPaul’s podcast.
In the fan-shot video footage, it appears that Rose McGowan may have been answering questions from the audience when a woman in the back steps up and says, “trans women are dying, and you said that we, as trans women, are not like regular women.” She was referencing McGowan’s comments on RuPaul’s What’s The Tee? podcast back in July of last year. The actress and woman’s rights activist instantly gets angry and unleashes on the woman. Rose McGowan kept shouting, “we’re the same!” back at the woman to the shock of the crowd in the bookstore.
The woman began to shout back, “this is white cis feminism!” at the top of her lungs as she was being escorted out of the building. Rose McGowan continued to shout back well after the woman was out of sight. Rose McGowan continued to shout back well after the woman was out of sight. She said, “Don’t label me, sister. Don’t put your labels on me, don’t you f%$#ing do that. Do not put your label on me, I don’t come from your planet, leave me alone.”

This isn’t a book tour, it’s a portrait of a woman cracking up as she tries to reconcile her empirical knowledge of the world with her ideology; McGowan’s new tonsure indicates she’s headed down the path to Crazytown blazed by Sinead O’Connor. But that’s the problem when you adopt a constantly shifting world view that responds to grievances instead of physical and biological facts: you lose your moral and intellectual bearings.
As the Washington Post, in a laudatory story (of course) about the B-movie actress, is forced to note:
McGowan’s unapologetic nature was perhaps the only thing to remain consistent throughout the short-lived publicity tour for her new memoir, “Brave.” Each public appearance a bit more bizarre than the previous, it became clear that the actress, who emerged as a leader in the movement to stamp out sexual misconduct in Hollywood, was going to do things her way.
Her manner of speaking out veers from the traditional, poised approach taken by, for example, those leading the Time’s Up initiative, and the ensuing backlash appeared to be too much to handle. McGowan tweeted Friday that she had “given enough” and canceled the tour.
McGowan cited the incident as the reason for abruptly canceling her tour, claiming the trans woman was an actor “paid to verbally assault a woman who has been terrorized by your system.” (It’s unclear to whom the “your” refers.) She went so far as to call out “my publicists … assistants, managers and every person sitting in their chairs” on their “COMPLICITY,” apparently exhibited by their failure to respond to the chaos in a desirable fashion.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave for ourselves when first we decide to believe the deceivers. The sooner this madness burns itself out in post-traditional America, and we experience a genuine “return to normalcy,” the better for our society. In the meantime, a “faith” and a culture that believes in nothing but itself and its own destructive triumph, watches and waits.

NYC School Cancels Father-Daughter Dance to Comply With New Gender Guidelines
A Staten Island elementary school cancelled its traditional father-daughter dance because of the Department of Education’s (DOE) new gender guidelines. PS 65 had the event scheduled for Friday, February 9, until the school’s parent-teacher association realized it would not comply with the Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Student Guidelines, which went into effect in March 2017. The school’s PTA will reschedule a dance for kids and caregivers of any gender on March 2, according to the DOE.
“Father-daughter dances inherently leave people out. Not just because of transgender status, just life in general,” said Jared Fox, the DOE’s LGBT community liaison. “These can be really uncomfortable and triggering events.”
The proper response to this is unprintable, but until society stops indulging this nonsense, you are going to see a lot more of it. Because they never stop, they never sleep, they never quit.
