Trump Wishes 'Fake News Media' a Happy New Year

“As our Country rapidly grows stronger and smarter,” President Trump wrote on Twitter shortly before going to a New Year’s party at Mar-a-Lago, “I want to wish all of my friends, supporters, enemies, haters, and even the very dishonest Fake News Media, a Happy and Healthy New Year. 2018 will be a great year for America!”

Yes, you read that right. He included even “the very dishonest Fake News Media.” You know the sort: CNN, the Washington Post, and, of course, the worst newspaper of them all, the New York Times.

At the time of this writing, Trump’s tweet had already been retweeted more than 30,000 times, once again proving that he is far from the only one who holds the mainstream media in contempt.

The funniest part of Trump’s tweet, of course, is that you just know that editors of the mainstream media once again went berserk when they read it. These people can’t laugh at anyone or anything, least of all at themselves.

So, just for them, let me just repeat Trump’s message (it may help the MSM grow a thick skin): a happy New Year to all — yes, even to the haters and the very dishonest Fake News Media!
