There isn’t much to smile about these days with all the stories of overreaching government agents stepping on the Constitution, but this story has me laughing out loud. Several California cities decided to vandalize their skate parks with sand so the skaters couldn’t break coronavirus “social distancing” edicts. Venice Beach and San Clemente skate parks were both filled in. A massive backlash erupted immediately because, after all, fresh air and exercise are among the best defenses against sickness.

But the skaters wasted no time in adapting to the new conditions. No amount of sand was going to stop them. Instead of agreeing to stay locked inside in recycled air, the skaters got to work and turned their park into a dirt bike track. What heroes.
The Government filled the skate park with sand, so the skaters turned it into a dirt bike track

This is the American spirit I like to see. We need people who will disobey stupid orders from stupid mayors and politicians who like to fly their fascist freak flags and control every aspect of our lives. The American people must always be ungovernable to keep the tyrants at bay.
