Trump Demands Resignation of Everyone Involved in NYT Kavanaugh Smear

On Twitter Monday night, Donald Trump loudly called for the resignations of everyone involved in the shameful lies printed in the New York Times about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The Times ran with a “new” allegation made by a Democrat political operative that Kavanaugh allegedly exposed himself at a party and someone pushed his exposed genitalia into a woman’s hand. The only problem was that the woman in question says it never happened. The Times didn’t bother to verify the smear job before allowing activists pushing a book for sale to claim this outrageous tale in their paper. As PJ Media’s Matt Margolis reported,

Senate investigators revealed Monday evening that the FBI “ended the investigation of alleged sexual misconduct in college by Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh after interviewing at least four people involved in the purported incident who could not substantiate the story.”

In a fiery speech at a rally in New Mexico, the president unloaded on the “Old Grey Lady.”

The left tries to threaten, bully, [and] intimidate Americans into submission. They try to blacklist, coerce, cancel, or destroy anyone who gets in their way. Look at what they’re doing today to Justice Kavanaugh. Do you see — the Democrats are calling for his resignation. They’re calling for his impeachment, and the woman involved said she doesn’t know anything. So the New York Times had to put out a major apology, and they had to change their story … and they still want him to be impeached!

I call for the resignation of everybody at The New York Times involved in the Kavanaugh smear story, and while you’re at it, the Russian witch hunt hoax, which is just as phony a story. They’ve taken the old Grey Lady, so prestigious, and broken her down, destroyed her virtue, and ruined her reputation. She can never recover, and will never return to greatness under current management. The Times is dead, long live the New York Times.

Trump continued to needle the fake news media, “Think of it — they wrote a story about somebody and she said, ‘I don’t remember this.'”

This is the state of our news agencies today. Print unsubstantiated garbage, blast it all over the world and then quietly delete it later with a half-hearted apology. The New York Post caught the NYT deleting unsubstantiated and inflammatory tweets related to this latest smear campaign.

In a bizarre series of tweets and retractions on @nytopinion on Saturday, The New York Times cringingly opined on its latest Brett Kavanaugh story, then retracted the tweet, then retracted the retraction, then posted an apology.

It would be comical if these people didn’t ruin so many lives with false allegations. Here’s hoping I’ll live to see the NYT shutter its doors for good. This is a good time to remind you that I wrote a whole book on false allegations — used to derail Brett Kavanaugh and other high-profile Republicans — by harpies bearing false witness. Pick up a copy today and keep it from happening to you or your loved one.
