Say whatever you want about me, a cuck RINO traitor who probably wanted Hillary to win, but at least I’ve accepted the fact that Hillary didn’t win. The 2016 election wasn’t the result of Russian interference, or grandmas sharing Facebook memes, or sexism, or Breitbart.com, or any of the other excuses libs keep coming up with. Hillary lost. America rejected her. Again. It’s over. It’s been over for quite some time.
But it’s never too early to start making excuses for another Democratic Party loss in 2020! Andrew Kugle, Washington Free Beacon:
Former attorney general Eric Holder said “the reality” of the 2020 presidential election is that Republicans will “cheat.”
Holder, who served in Barack Obama’s administration, expressed confidence in Democrats’ 2020 electoral chances during a Monday interview on The Breakfast Club radio show…
“It’s going to be hard because the reality is that Republicans are going to cheat,” Holder said. “They’re going to try to keep people away from the polls. They’re going to move polling places. They’re going to do a whole variety of things.”
According to guys like Eric Holder, “cheating” is when a Republican wins even though a Democrat is running.
The people who made things so bad that America turned to Trump are now convincing themselves that America prefers them to Trump. That sort of chutzpah… Actually, I’m not even mad. That’s amazing.
So if the Dems lose next year, they’ve got their rationalization ready: The other guy cheated. It’s been working for Stacey Abrams, who took a failed Georgia gubernatorial campaign and turned it into a thriving media career. Tell people what they want to hear and they’ll follow you, no matter how badly you fail them. You can’t lose as long as you deny the mere possibility that you can lose.
To be fair, Trump would’ve done the same thing if he had lost. He’ll do the same thing if he loses next year. The Dems are no better than the guy they #Resist so ostentatiously. If they think that’s going to drive people to the polls on election day, then they learned nothing from 2016.
Of course, they need to nominate a candidate before they can decide on the best excuse for a loss. Will Biden lose because of ageism, or will Warren lose because of sexism? How will the Dems warp reality to assuage their egos? Stay tuned!
P.S. Of course, this assumes Trump isn’t impeached and removed from office before then. Which is what I’m assuming. If it were going to happen, it would’ve happened by now.
P.P.S. But then, I’ve been wrong about everything so far…
