Dem Senator Compares Senate 'Nuclear Option' to Actual Nuclear Bomb!

On today’s Hot Mic, I mentioned how senile some senators are getting, but this is next-level ridiculousness. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) actually compared a real nuclear bomb to the Republicans’ “nuclear option” in the Senate. I, too, am concerned about the rules changing, and fear that it might come back to bite the GOP in the tuchus, but come on!!! A nuclear attack did kill over 120,000 humans in Japan, and a nuclear weapon would slaughter countless civilians if unleashed over American soil. Changing the way we approve Supreme Court justices, which I might point out started under Harry Reid, will not literally kill anyone.
