White House: 'Comey Is a Man of Integrity, He's a Man of Principle'

Saying that “the president doesn’t believe that Director Comey is intentionally trying to influence the outcome of an election,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said President Obama’s perception of James Comey hasn’t changed since the FBI decision to reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. He says Obama has always considered Comey to be a man of integrity. This flies in the face of Democrats who are trying to cast Comey as a political manipulator (like Harry Reid).
