Al Qaeda Kills Dozens in Iraq

Al Qaeda just killed nearly 70 people, if not more, in terrorist attacks in cities throughout Iraq. Security personnel were targeted in some of these attacks while civilians were the targets of others.

Is is really possible, on a day like this, to believe that Al Qaeda’s war has much of anything to do with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, that it’s exclusively a reaction to American “imperialism,” or that terrorism is a mainstream activity over there?
