I bet none of you saw this coming, right?
German police have arrested a 40-year-old Tunisian man on suspicion of being an accomplice in the Berlin Christmas Market attack. Twelve people were killed in the attack claimed by the “Islamic State” (IS).
Wow! A fellow Muslim migrant who probably helped Anis Amri carry out his horrific terror attack in Berlin earlier this month! Who would’ve thought it possible? This must come as a great surprise — nay, a shock (!) — to everybody.
Oh wait, it doesn’t. Unlike politically correct Chancellor Angela Merkel, literally everyone with even a half-functioning brain understood that Amri probably had help from others … and that those others were, in all likelihood, immigrants just like him.
May these revelations finally convince Germany and other European countries to change their immigration policies — and then especially their policy towards self-declared refugees from the Middle East. There certainly are (many) potential immigrants who will add something of value to European societies and who will not pose any threat at all. But you can’t let anyone in until you’ve sufficiently screened them and are 100 percent sure they’re safe. When you aren’t, they can’t be allowed into the country. It’s truly that simple.
The average German, Dutchman, Belgian, and Frenchman understands that, but I’m afraid I can’t say the same about European politicians. They’re still more fearful of being dubbed “racists” than of being held responsible for bloody terror attacks on our Christmas markets, railway stations, and airports.
