Hypocrisy, thy name is Hillary Clinton:
Hillary Clinton on Thursday decried the spread of fake news online, calling it an “epidemic” that Congress should take action against.
“The epidemic of malicious fake news and false propaganda that flooded social media over the past year — it’s now clear the so-called fake news can have real-world consequences,” Clinton said during a speech on Capitol Hill.
You’re darn right it can, Hillary. And you should know.

In 2011, Clinton spread “malicious fake news and false propaganda” about the U.S. embassy attack in Benghazi being a response to a ridiculous YouTube movie nobody had ever heard of and that few had watched. Of course, the Benghazi assault was actually a coordinated attack carried out by terrorists who had carefully planned it.
The result of that attack was one dead ambassador, one dead U.S. Foreign Service officer, and two dead CIA contractors.
Hillary’s supporters and friends in the media knew she had lied. But they didn’t care.
After all, sharing the truth — that the Obama administration turned its back on Ambassador Stevens and the other brave souls who lost their lives that night — would have done great damage to Hillary’s reputation and to that of the president. Being the good little progressive foot soldiers they are, the mainstream media couldn’t let that happen.
Fast forward to December 2016, and suddenly Hillary is criticizing people who create and publish fake news — arguing they do “real damage.” We know they do, Hillary: we saw you and your buddies make up “news” for years. And every single time, others suffered consequences as you got away with it.
Spare us the phony outrage and the phony narrative. Your lies came from the seat of power, and had far worse consequences, and you left four Americans to die.
