Oh my, it seems that the guys and gals who created the political monster called Donald Trump finally realize they made a major mistake:
longtime ally of Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign manager: “Manafort not challenging Trump anymore. Mailing it in. Staff suicidal.”
— John Harwood (@JohnJHarwood) August 3, 2016
I can imagine. They’re all telling Trump to at least pretend to be a serious presidential candidate, but he just does whatever he wants. In his case, that means attacking the parents of a brave soldier who died for his country and angering Republican leaders — whose help he desperately needs in order to rally the troops in November — by refusing to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan.
If that doesn’t make Trump’s staffers suicidal, they’re either insane or as dumb as a cow. (Anyone who grew up in a village or, better yet, on a farm knows what I’m talking about)
Of course, Trump’s spokesman immediately struck back, accusing Harwood of being a liberal hack. Which he is. That doesn’t mean he’s wrong, however. In fact, his report is backed up by several other journalists:
A Trump campaign source, in reax to this, tells me “it’s all true” and “way worse than people realize.” https://t.co/nvioNcjMCJ

A source tells @DanaBashCNN that some Trump campaign staff are frustrated w/ candidate lately, “feel like they are wasting their time”

According to PJ Media’s own Debra Heine, the situation is becoming so bad that the GOP is actually preparing a contingency plan in case Trump decides to drop out of the presidential race altogether. Although I believe his ego will not allow him to do so, I could be wrong: If he feels he can blame it on others, he may actually do it. After all, this is a man who feels no remorse for anything and who feels loyalty towards no one.
Even if he doesn’t get out, however, chances are he’ll end up all alone — except for his family. Everybody else is clearly trying to run as far away from him as they possibly can.
