59% of Americans Oppose Syrian Refugees; Obama Administration Couldn't Care Less

According to a new poll by Rasmussen, 59% of likely American voters say they oppose allowing 10,000 Syrian refugees into the country before the end of the year. The reason is simple: they believe some of these refugees may actually be undercover terrorists who have plans to carry out attacks in the U.S.

The Obama administration reportedly is speeding the vetting process for Syrian refugees so 10,000 can come to the United States this year, but most voters still don’t welcome those newcomers and fear they are a threat to the country.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Likely U.S. Voters oppose allowing 10,000 Syrians to come to America by the end of the year. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 31% favor letting those refugees come here. Eleven percent (11%) are undecided.

Although some may undoubtedly call that “prejudiced” or “a conspiracy theory,” the fact of the matter is that ISIS has already used the refugee crisis to smuggle fighters into Europe. Former fighters of ISIS in Syria were, for instance, involved in the terror attacks in Paris and Brussels. They first traveled from Europe to Syria where they joined ISIS, proceeded to fight side by side with other extremist butchers, and were later smuggled back into Europe so they could carry out those horrendous attacks.

Officials at Frontex admitted a string of security blunders which have led to a large number of people arriving in Greece and Italy with false documents not facing thorough checks or penalties.

It said the Paris attacks last November demonstrate how the chaos caused by the ongoing migrant crisis could be used by terrorists to reach the EU, with the aim of slaughtering innocent civilians.

How can we be sure that ISIS won’t use a similar trick to sneak a couple of its fighters into the United States by pretending they’re Syrian refugees?

We can’t.

The majority of Americans understand that. Sadly, however, the Obama administration does not. Or, perhaps better said: they may understand the risks, but just don’t care. After all, nobody ever said that creating a politically correct multicultural society would be a bloodless undertaking, did they?
