The liberal media is desperate to downplay it, but President Trump has pulled off an economic turnaround so stunning that even he had to acknowledge its scale.
“We’ve not only stopped that manufacturing collapse, but we’ve begun to rapidly reverse it and get major gains,” he declared in the Oval Office on Friday. Democrats will try to dismiss the latest numbers, but behind closed doors, they’re panicking — and for good reason.
Under Biden’s disastrous leadership, America bled 110,000 manufacturing jobs — an average of 9,000 lost every month, as Trump pointed out. But February’s numbers paint a dramatically different picture: 10,000 new manufacturing jobs added in a single month.
“That hasn’t happened in a long time,” Trump noted. “And these aren’t government jobs, which actually we cut.”
The automotive sector's revival is particularly stunning.
"We created 9,000 new jobs in the auto production field," Trump announced proudly. Manufacturers are finally thinking straight: "They want to have the jobs in one location, and they've had space, and if they had space, they were able to create the jobs almost immediately."
As Trump explained, "They want the auto parts, ideally, and I think from a simplicity standpoint, too, to be built and made in the United States."
POTUS: "During the last year, the Biden administration saw a loss of more than 110K manufacturing jobs or 9K manufacturing jobs every single month -- During the first full month in office, we've not only stopped the manufacturing collapse, but we've begun to rapidly reverse it… pic.twitter.com/njThXqesr1

"Under the final two years of Biden, one in every four jobs created in America was a government job," Trump revealed. But under his leadership? "An incredible 93% of all job gains were in the private sector."

But here's what really has the open-borders crowd squirming: American workers are finally winning again. As Trump celebrated, "For the first time in 15 months, the job gains for native-born Americans, for American people, people born in America, exceeded job gains for migrant and foreign-born workers." The numbers tell the story: "Employment for native-born workers went up by 284,000 while foreign-born workers went down by 87,000."

What's even more impressive is that this is just the beginning.
"These are incredible numbers, and they're very early. I mean, you know, we're here for five weeks," Trump noted. Companies aren't waiting for policies to take effect; they're already "gearing up" based on Trump's November victory. As he explained, "It's not just five weeks. It's five weeks plus a few months."
National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett confirmed what conservatives have known all along: American workers will step up when given the chance. With $1.7 trillion in committed new factory investments still to come and major initiatives like the Reciprocal Trade Act on the horizon, we're witnessing the dawn of an American golden age.
NEC Director Kevin Hassett: "A lot of people said that if you deported illegals, then employment would go down... And if you look, 280,000 American-born folks were hired, manufacturing jobs are going up... I suspect that this is going to be a glimpse of the Golden Age to come." pic.twitter.com/v0GhPkr5LP

This is exactly why Americans voted for Trump in 2024 — to restore prosperity, bring back American jobs, and put our country first. After years of economic stagnation, reckless globalism, and government overreach, Trump’s leadership is proving once again that commonsense America First policies work. Factories are reopening, paychecks are growing, and American workers — not bureaucrats or foreign interests — are finally at the center of our economy.
Despite the media’s desperate spin, the reality is undeniable. Optimism is returning, businesses are expanding, and hardworking Americans are reaping the benefits. The Trump economic revival isn’t some distant hope; it’s happening right now, and it’s only going to accelerate. This is what winning looks like. This is why the American people put Trump back in the White House.
And if these first few weeks are any indication, the best is yet to come.
The left can cry and moan all it wants, but the numbers don't lie. Under Trump's America First policies, manufacturing is booming, government bloat is shrinking, and American workers are taking center stage. The golden age isn't just a promise; it's becoming a reality right before our eyes. The only question now is: How tired of winning will we get?
