Donald Trump’s inaugural address on Monday was nothing short of a bold declaration of intent—an ambitious roadmap for the America he aims to restore.
And I loved every minute of it.
Trump wasted no time in holding up a mirror to the failures of the previous four years, and the message he delivered was clear: The man who had been politically persecuted, dismissed, shot at, and written off was back, stronger than ever, and isn’t going to let this opportunity go to waste.
“The golden age of America begins right now,” he began.
From there, you knew it was going to be an amazing speech.
“From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world,” Trump declared, confidently setting the tone for the next four years. “We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. During every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first.”
This was no mere promise—it was a declaration of American resurgence. The golden age of America, he said, begins now. With every word, he outlined his vision for a country that had been disrespected and run into the ground under the Biden administration. “We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer.”
As Trump delivered his criticism of the past four years, the best sideshow was watching Biden and Kamala Harris sitting behind him, forced to watch Trump trash their legacy and declare that America’s decline was over.
“Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced.” This wasn’t just a critique of the Biden administration—it was a rejection of the entire establishment that had allowed such abuse and corruption to take place.

And then, of course, came the personal jab at Joe and Kamala. “My recent election is a mandate to completely and totally reverse a horrible betrayal and all of these many betrayals,” Trump said. The victory was his, and his words made it clear that not only had the people spoken, but they had decisively rejected the failed policies of Biden’s first term. Watching Biden and Harris forced to sit there, enduring Trump’s triumphant moment, was a powerful reminder of the seismic shift in American politics.
There was no hesitation in Trump’s tone as he took aim at the multitude of issues that had plagued the nation under the Biden-Harris administration: unchecked illegal immigration, a crumbling public health system, radical gender ideology, and an education system that taught children to “hate our country.” Trump’s words were sharp and unrelenting, promising a swift reversal of these trends. “We will immediately restore the integrity, competency, and loyalty of America’s government,” he said, ensuring his audience knew that a new era was beginning—one where America’s interests would come first.
It’s a bold promise I hope he can keep.
Perhaps the most satisfying moment came when Trump boldly declared his intentions to undo the damage wrought by the radical left: “I will declare a national emergency at our southern border.” As he laid out his agenda for dealing with the crisis of illegal immigration, the disastrous energy policies, and the failed economic policies of the past administration, the message was unmistakable: The era of weakness and appeasement was over.
America is truly back.
Trump’s address was a full-throated rejection of the Biden presidency. It was a blueprint for an America that would no longer apologize for its greatness, no longer accept the erosion of its values, and no longer reject common sense. The address was full of powerful promises like restoring American energy dominance, protecting free speech, and reinvigorating the military.
And as for Biden, the man who once called himself the “unifier” and the “healer," he could only watch as his divisive and failed presidency was dismantled right to his face.
It was a fitting farewell for Joe.
