The 2024 Democratic National Convention at the United Center in Chicago is now in the books, and if there’s one takeaway from the event, it’s this: the Democrats are fully embracing their identity as the party of abortion.
All other issues took the backseat to abortion — and, of course, Trump attacks — because that’s all the Democratic Party stands for. While the Republican National Convention featured everyday people discussing how the Harris-Biden economy or the border crisis had hurt them, the Democrats’ convention, however, featured liberal women sharing their stories about abortion.

In fairness, it would have been much harder for them to find people who could honestly talk about how their lives got better over the past three and a half years.
Not far from the United Center, Planned Parenthood even had a mobile clinic offering free abortions and vasectomies for the first two days of the convention.
This isn’t what a pro-choice party does; this is what a pro-abortion party does. Remember the old days when they were all about abortion being legal but rare? Those days are long, long gone.
Of course, leftists often don’t like it when you call them pro-abortion. Rather they want to be labeled as the euphemistic “pro-choice,” which simply isn’t accurate. How can you be “pro-choice” when you fight so hard against laws that ensure women are fully informed about their options? How can you be “pro-choice” when you oppose ultrasound requirements or the rights of abortion opponents to voice their opinions outside clinics? The truth is that if there’s even the slightest possibility that a woman might reconsider having an abortion, the left will do everything in its power to shut it down.
When the abortion industry is bankrolling you, "choice" becomes a dangerous gamble. The forces controlling the Democratic Party profit from abortions — they're not interested in celebrating a woman who chooses life.
If they were genuinely “pro-choice,” they’d welcome the idea of women making an informed choice rather than doing everything they can to indoctrinate women into thinking that abortion is the only option.

The Democratic National Convention made it increasingly clear that the Democratic Party has one primary focus these days: abortion. Democrats' obsession with this issue has reached a fever pitch. No other issue received as much attention at the convention as abortion. It’s truly reached the point where they might as well just rebrand themselves as “The Abortion Party.” Forget the economy, crime, or the border crisis — they don’t want to talk about these issues because they don’t help them.
The Democrats are completely owned and controlled by the abortion industry. Why not just rebrand as "The Abortion Party?" It’s a far more fitting name than "The Democratic Party," especially when you consider how often they've rigged their own primaries. It's time to drop the pretense. Let's call them what they really are — and we should start calling them that, too.
