As much as I strongly urge caution about the upcoming election, there’s no doubt that, at present, things look good for Trump. Really good. The mainstream media has been doing everything to try to help the Democrats win, from its usual biased coverage to even calling on Biden to drop out. But, the polls still have Trump ahead, and Biden isn’t leaving the race. So, they have a new strategy, and it’s a a real knee-slapper.
Of course, by now you know that one of Biden’s biggest liabilities, aside from his disastrous record at home and abroad, is “the age issue,” which is really a euphemism for his senility.
Democrats had hoped that Biden’s State of the Union address would have killed “the age issue” once and for all, but almost daily since that speech we've seen one incident after the other.
In the past couple of weeks alone, there have been more than enough embarrassing incidents for Joe Biden. Last week, Biden froze on stage during his Hollywood fundraiser, prompting Barack Obama to grab his arm and lead him back to reality. Earlier in the week, as he arrived in Italy for the G7 Summit, he appeared disoriented and needed assistance finding his way. His speech at the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund’s “Gun Sense University” conference also raised eyebrows due to slurred and nonsensical speech. Prior to this, he had another frozen moment during the White House Juneteenth celebration. Footage from Biden's visit to Normandy to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day had some believing he had soiled himself.

Of course, that’s why the media has a plan. They’ve landed on the strategy of questioning Donald Trump’s mental health as a means to counter the impact Biden’s senility is having on his campaign.
The media promptly pounced after Trump mixed up the name of former White House physician Ronny Jackson during a campaign event—calling him Ronny Johnson by mistake.
"You’d think he’d remember his name,” mocks Kevin Manahan at NJ.com. "After all, Ronny Jackson is the former White House physician who likely lied about Donald Trump’s weight and health, then became one of the former president’s staunchest supporters as a Texas Congressman."
Something tells me Manahan had no problem with White House physician Kevin O’Connor’s assessment last year that Joe Biden is a "healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.” l
Other media outlets pounced on the story, including MSNBC, the Associated Press, CNN... you know, the usual suspects that come rushing to Biden’s defense every time a damning video of the president looking like a walking corpse goes viral. The same outlets that insist on telling us not to believe what we see -- or attempt to convince us that videos of Biden getting lost on stage, talking to invisible people, or freezing up are altered -- somehow think saying “Johnson” instead of “Jackson” is the same thing as this:

Now, compare that to the video of Trump flubbing Jackson’s name:
Trump: I think Biden should take a cognitive test. My doctor Ronny Johnson. Ronny Johnson, do you know him?

As you can see, the Biden campaign shared the video. It’s not the first time the account has tried to question Trump’s vigor or cognitive health, but they’ve all fallen flat. Meanwhile, the Biden campaign has spent months not only trying to flip the script, but trying to portray Biden as “sharp."
Polls continue to show that the public isn’t falling for it. On the issue of age and mental health, voters overwhelmingly believe Biden doesn’t have what it takes to handle the presidency, but that Trump does. And as footage of both men continues to prove, they’re right.
