The Morning Briefing: Trump Forces Democrats, Media to Defend Al Sharpton

Good Tuesday morning.

Al Sharpton, the new Democrat hero

It’s so easy to play these rabid Democrat partisans and the media. Yesterday, we continued the aftershocks of Baltimore-gate with Al Sharpton entering the ring. Let’s refresh our memory about Sharpton, shall we?

Since the 1980s, Sharpton has engineered protests, boycotts, and riots, often pitting African Americans against Jewish communities. Perhaps the most gruesome being a four-day race riot in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, after a Hasidic driver killed the child of Guyanese immigrants in a tragic car accident. Sharpton stirred up anti-Semitic protesters, shouting, “No justice, no peace!” They targeted innocent Jewish homes, breaking windows and setting cars on fire, and an angry mob murdered the Jewish driver, Yankel Rosenbaum. Sharpton lead the mobs who chanted about killing “bloodsucking Jews” and “Jew bastards.”

I’m not surprised because the media and the Democrats have normalized anti-Semitism with their celebration and defense of anti-Semites like congressfolk Omar, Tlaib, and AOC. So why not Sharpton? It’s the next logical step.

The Sharpton-led protests came to a head in December when Roland James Smith Jr., who had participated in Sharpton’s protests, walked into Freddy’s Fashion Mart, pulled out a gun, ordered all the black customers to leave, poured paint thinner on several bins of clothing, and set them on fire. Seven people died in the fire, and Smith shot himself. Sharpton claimed he was not involved in the protests and was only there to mediate. The reason Harari had raised the rent of his black tenant in the first place? His rent had been raised by his landlord, a black Pentecostal church.

What a guy. Democrats, you own this hateful piece of trash who has blood on his hands. One of Trump’s tweets kicked off this massive Sharpton love fest.

“Baltimore, under the leadership of Elijah Cummings, has the worst Crime Statistics in the Nation,” Trump tweeted Monday morning. “25 years of all talk, no action! So tired of listening to the same old Bull…Next, Reverend Al will show up to complain & protest. Nothing will get done for the people in need. Sad!”

And that’s all it took. I expect this to continue into the week,

Gilroy shooting update

The maniac who shot and killed three people at the Gilroy Garlic Festival has been identified and everyone scrambled to get the deets on him. Was he a white supremacist (he was always going to be a white supremacist) as the left hopes? 2A supporters worry that there will be more gun control despite the fact that California has the strictest gun control in the country.

The weapon used in the slaughter was identified as an “AK-style” weapon in the media but law enforcement said it was an SKS rifle. The media also wants you to know the firearm was purchased “legally” but that’s misleading because the gun is almost certainly illegal in California. Even if he bought it legally, he illegally brought it into the state. The media and gun grabbers don’t want to talk about that because it points to the fact that gun laws don’t stop criminals.

There are still plenty of details about this gun purchase the lazy media isn’t investigating because they only care to report that the gun was bought legally. How did he buy a gun in another state? Did he have a CA or NV drivers license to buy the firearm? We don’t know and they aren’t going to find out.

We learned some other things: the gunman identified himself as an Iranian-Italian, which is critical information since identity politics is always relevant in determining who “owns” this monster. We also learned he recommended people read some book that is being identified as a “white supremacy” book written in the 1800s that I’ve never heard of. Isn’t it crazy how these lefties always know about these obscure “white supremacy” icons but the people they accuse of being “white supremacists” have no idea what they are talking about? We also know the gunman cut through some fencing to avoid metal detectors. Again, laws and rules don’t stop homicidal maniacs.
