Trump’s white power census
Turning it up to 11. Ian Bassin, the president and executive director of the liberal Protect Democracy Project (PDP), said that the census question asking about citizenship status is a “white power” move. At this point in the political dialectic, “white power” just means something with which you disagree it seems. By the way, Bassin is also former WH counsel for the Obama administration.
“There’s a term for trying to create a structural political advantage for ‘Republicans and non-Hispanic whites,’ and that term is ‘white power.’ And we now know that’s been the purpose all along for adding a citizenship question to the census,” Bassin told the Washington Post‘s Democrat pundit Jennifer Rubin.
“Make no mistake: The government lawyers — appointees and civil servants alike — who are spending this weekend trying to cleanse the record of this fact and salvage this plan are employing their legal skills in the service of white power,” he added.
The PDP’s goal is “to hold the President and the Executive Branch accountable to the laws and longstanding practices that have protected our democracy through both Democratic and Republican Administrations.” They are mostly funded by nine anonymous donors. I wonder who they could be?
Speaker of the House Pelosi is right in line with this “theory.”
“You know his hat? ‘Make America white again.’ They want to make sure that people, certain people, are counted,” Pelosi said at a press conference on election security. “It’s really disgraceful and it’s not what our founders had in mind.”
Epstein indictment unsealed, the Democrat donor and Clinton pal pleads not guilty
On Monday, the indictment against Democrat patron and Clinton chum Jeffrey Epstein was unsealed and he appeared in court for his arraignment. Epstein plead not guilty. The indictment alleged the Clinton buddy was accused of “luring dozens of girls as young as 14 to his luxury homes in New York and Florida and paying them for sex acts.”
An indictment unsealed in federal court in Manhattan accused Epstein, 66, of arranging for girls to perform nude “massages” and other sex acts, and paying some girls to recruit others, from at least 2002 to 2005.
The indictment also alleged Epstein “intentionally sought out minors and knew that many of his victims were in fact under the age of 18, including because, in some instances, minor victims expressly told him their age.”

Four trips? Fox News reported back in 2016 that Clinton “was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.” Oh wow. That sounds bad. Was he doing something unsavory?
Let’s see how this plays out, but it certainly doesn’t look good for Clinton. Will the media ignore Clinton’s role?
