And… we have a new claim against Kavanaugh
Did you see this coming? I sure didn’t. Just kidding, I totally did. Why do you think the Dems kept pushing for more time and were so difficult to nail down on when their accuser would testify before the Judiciary Committee? To go rustle up some more victims and memories of course. Deborah Ramirez, who was a fellow student at Yale with SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, has officially come forward with some claims about Kavanaugh.
After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said.
Kavanaugh responded: “This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen. The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name—and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building—against these last-minute allegations.”
This story was written by Ronan Farrow. Go read the whole thing, there are lots of details in there, less corroboration. But wait, I’m not done yet…
Creepy porn lawyer Avenatti has a client with “credible” allegations about Kavanaugh
“We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify,” Avenatti tweeted Sunday night. “The nomination must be withdrawn.”
Avenatti informed the Senate Judiciary Committee:
“We are aware of significant evidence of multiple house parties in the Washington, D.C. area during the early 1980s, during which Brett Kavanaugh, Mark Judge and others would participate in the targeting of women with alcohol/drugs to allow a ‘train’ of men to subsequently gang rape them.”
Avenatti claimed to have “multiple witnesses” that could corroborate “these facts.”
“Each of them must be called to testify publicly,” he said.
Avenatti had hinted earlier in the day that he had damning info on the Supreme Court nominee.
“What happens at Georgetown Prep does not stay at Georgetown Prep,” he tweeted.
And, of course, these new allegations mean we have to postpone the confirmation process while the FBI investigates these fresh, 35-year-old memories of sexual assault and harassment. Here’s Senator Feinstein, here’s Senator Gillibrand, here’s Senator Merkley all calling for a postponement. The Democrats are nothing if not single-minded.
Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) told Jake Tapper on the Sunday spin shows that she doesn’t think Brett Kavanaugh deserves the presumption of innocence because he’s a conservative. You can get a clear sense about what is going on with the SCOTUS nomination and really, what the left’s grand agenda is. Making allegations in the lefty’s Utopia is sufficient to condemn and punish a person if the “right” allegations are made against the right person. So in this case, the right person is Kavanaugh and the right allegation is a #metoo claim. An example of an unwelcome charge would be Keith Ellison’s situation, where his ex-girlfriend’s claims are pretty much ignored by the media and Democrats, even though they expect us to believe they really care about women. They just hate conservatives much more than they care about women.
These kinds of kangaroo courts are normal on university campuses and now they are going to be normal in politics and in real life.
