Good Friday morning.
I do not have the president’s agenda today.
Tragedy: At least 11 dead, 7 injured in Missouri duck boat accident
Tony Podesta offered immunity
If there was any part of you, however small, that was unsure whether Robert Mueller was executing a partisan witch hunt against President Trump and his campaign associates, let that be put to rest.
Special counsel Robert Mueller has offered Clinton-connected superlobbyist Tony Podesta immunity in order to testify against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, according to Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
“Tonight we can report exclusively based on two separate sources we spoke to today that Tony Podesta has been offered immunity by Robert Mueller to testify against Paul Manafort,” reported Carlson.
Wow. Tony Podesta is a real dirt bag but he is a Clinton dirt bag which means he will never be held accountable for his shenanigans.
“In other words, for a near identical crime, Bill and Hillary’s friend could skate and emerge completely unscathed while Paul Manafort may rot in jail,” Carlson said.
“Only one of them made the mistake of chairing Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”
Here’s the deal on Podesta and Manafort:
Podesta is the founder of the Podesta Group and brother of John Podesta, who was chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
The Podesta Group reportedly worked with Manafort — a former chairman of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign — to lobby on behalf of Ukrainian interests in the United States, without properly registering at the time under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA), Carlson said.
Manafort and the group worked on a campaign called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine, the Washington Times reported.
Mueller is offering five witnesses immunity to testify against Paul Manafort on charges entirely unrelated to RUSSIA collusion, the purported reason for Mueller’s “investigation.” The Podesta immunity is a blatantly partisan move by Mueller; it’s quite shocking.
At the time of Podesta’s resignation, a Podesta Group spokesman said the firm was “cooperating fully with the special counsel’s office and has taken every possible step to provide documentation that confirms timely compliance. In all of our client engagements, the Podesta Group conducts due diligence and consults with appropriate legal experts to ensure compliance with disclosure regulations at all times — and we did so in this case.”

President Trump wants RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin to visit the White House this fall.
In Helsinki, @POTUS agreed to ongoing working level dialogue between the two security council staffs. President Trump asked @Ambjohnbolton to invite President Putin to Washington in the fall and those discussions are already underway.
— Stephanie Grisham (@PressSec) July 19, 2018
Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats learned about the potential invitation during an interview with Andrea Mitchell in Aspen.
“The White House has announced Vladimir Putin is coming to the White House in the fall,” she said.
Coats replied, “Say that again.”
“Vladimir Putin,” Mitchell said.
“Did I hear you?” he said.
The invite comes on the heels of Putin’s offer to U.S. law enforcement to interview the 12 RUSSIANS recently indicted for hacking by witch hunter Mueller. Putin said in exchange he would like to interview Magnitsky Act proponent Bill Browder and former U.S. Ambassador to RUSSIA Michael McFaul. The White House has turned down the offer.
Putin will arrive just in time for pumpkin latte season.
