Good Wednesday morning.
Here’s what is on the President’s agenda today:
- The president holds a cabinet meeting
Trump clarifies remarks at RUSSIA summit
Following an epic level of hysteria and a series of continuous meltdowns, President Trump clarified, corrected or edited the comments he made in his joint press conference with Putin in Helsinki, Finland.
“I accept our intelligence community’s conclusion that meddling took place,” Trump said, reading from remarks yesterday. He added that it “could be other people also. There’s a lot of people out there.”
Trump said he misspoke during Monday’s joint presser with Vladimir Putin and meant to say there was no reason “it wouldn’t be Russia” behind election meddling.
The media was also giddy when a creepy, close-up photo revealed that there were handwritten notes on Trump’s printed statement that read, “THERE WAS NO COLLUSION.”
The resistance and resistancemedia are desperate to find out what happened in Trump’s private meeting with Putin.
Six Democrats sent a letter to Trump on Tuesday saying Americans “have a right to know” what the two leaders discussed during their closed-door meeting on Monday in Helsinki, Finland.
“Just today the Russian Ministry of Defense publicly stated that it is prepared to start implementing an agreement you apparently struck in Helsinki with President Putin, an agreement that neither Congress nor the American people have been informed about,” the lawmakers wrote.
Resistance agitator Sen. Chuck Schumer wants hearings and Trump’s tax returns. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will appear before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee next week “to explain Trump’s one-on-one meetings with the ruthless strongmen.” The appearance was pushed by Iran-friendly GOP Senator Bob Corker. That hearing ought to be off the rails and of course, I will cover it here in the Briefing when it happens.

Why wouldn’t Trump trust the intelligence agencies?
Yeah, why? “Experts” from the intelligence agencies are saying that Trump is behaving like a “controlled spy.”
Glenn Carle, a longtime former CIA spy, said he wasn’t the least bit surprised by Trump’s actions because “it’s becoming more and more clear that Trump is either a witting or unwitting Russian asset.”
“People say this is so mystifying, but it’s not,” Carle said. “Intelligence assets become convinced to be spies for multiple reasons. It might start with kompromat or financial hooks, and the asset may be convinced he is acting as a patriot until he becomes accustomed to his role.”
And then there’s this:
“There are four possibilities,” this person told Business Insider. “One is that Trump is not very smart. The second is that he’s lazy and incurious. The third is that he is acting this way toward Russia because of some financial desire, like building a Trump Tower in Moscow. The fourth is that the Russian leader has something serious on him, from either a business or personal standpoint.
“My money is on the latter two,” they said.
To demonstrate my point further, Twitter personality and former Director of the FBI James Comey took to, you guessed it, Twitter to GOTV for the Democrats.
This Republican Congress has proven incapable of fulfilling the Founders’ design that “Ambition must … counteract ambition.” All who believe in this country’s values must vote for Democrats this fall. Policy differences don’t matter right now. History has its eyes on us.

Gee, why would anyone think jokers like Comey or Brennan or Clapper or Strzok or McCabe or Page would try and undermine his election and later, set him up for an espionage rap? Who knows what other subversives are lurking in the DOJ and FBI? It’s kind of hard to take them seriously now that they’ve revealed themselves.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks
Protests continued in front of the White House last night for whatever reason. Former Clinton aide Philippe Reines and the resistance posse made a ruckus following Trump’s return from his overseas trip to prevent the president from sleeping. Reines returned last night with resistance spokesidiots Michael Avenatti and Alyssa Milano. Don’t these people have anything better to do? They are always protesting. Don’t they get up and go to work in the morning or eat dinner with their families or friends?
